Follow the cycling adventures of a ‘boomer’ couple in some of the world’s magnificent wine regions and great locales. It speaks to your heart to instill confidence and to your head with practical cycling tips about what to expect along the routes.
What other say about the book ....
***** You too can do this! from Phillip Levi
A jug of wine, a loaf of bread, with Karen in the wilderness (on a bike), ah wilderness be paradise enough.( Apologies to Kahil Gilbran). "Cycling for Boomers" by Henry Work with pictures by his wife Karen is a romp on bikes through New Zeland, Australia, California and river ways in several European countries. It is more than just a tale about the authors adventures. Reviews of My Books
*****Keeping Cycling Fun from Kay Finley
This is a fun book full of information written by someone who has been there and done that. Suggestions about how to bypass cities and how to find good restaurants with the local wines definitely good to know. Discussions about the different bikes for different uses was also very helpful.
